Hello and welcome to Dragon’s Library and More! I'm Marilyn, the proud owner and creative force behind this eclectic collection of treasures. I started this journey in 2020, amidst the whirlwind of the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many, I faced unexpected challenges, including being laid off. But out of those challenges, a long-held dream took flight: creating a space where I could share my love for books and unique, handmade items.

What Caught My Eye

The inspiration behind Dragon’s Library and More is simple yet profound—“What caught my eye.” My interests are diverse, and my creations reflect the beautiful randomness of what captures my attention. From handmade jewelry and quilts to lotions, aroma stones, and more, each item is a piece of my journey and creativity. It's an ADHD thing, really. My mind constantly buzzes with ideas, leading me to explore and create a wide range of products.

A Personal Journey

As a single mom of five, life has been a balancing act. My children, especially my 25-year-old with Down Syndrome, have been my greatest teachers and supporters. They’ve taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of following my passions. Over the years, I've dabbled in various crafts—quilting, knitting, crocheting, painting, beading, and even microwave fused glass art. Each skill learned and every project completed adds a new chapter to my story.

My passion for books, especially fantasy, dark fantasy, grimdark, and a hint of dark romance, is at the heart of everything I do. Whether it’s a beautifully crafted necklace or a curated collection of manga and comics, each item is chosen with care and a touch of whimsy.
